Time line: Introduction to the Market

Small Press United titles are presented to the book trade in small bundles periodically throughout the year instead of in large catalogs that traditionally come out just two or three times a year. This enables titles to be introduced to the market more quickly. Each title is featured on a full page that includes a color cover image, book description, author bio, endorsements, review excerpts, and other pertinent sales information.

Monday, Feb. 1: Deadline for signed contract and completed online title information form and cover imae to SPU
Monday, Feb. 8: Title data sent electronically to major trading partners
Monday, Feb. 15: Title information and sales bundles sent to sales force
Tuesday, Feb. 24: Deadline for stock to be received at SPU

Title Bundle U10

Thursday, April 1: Deadline for signed contract and completed online title information form and cover image to SPU
Friday, April 9: Title data sent electronically to major trading partners
Friday, April. 16: Title information and sales bundles sent to sales force
Monday, April 26: Deadline for stock to be received at SPU

Tuesday, June 1: Deadline for signed contract and completed online title information form and cover image to SPU
Wednesday, June 9: Title data sent electronically to major trading partners
Wednesday, June 16: Title information and sales bundles sent to sales force
