Time line: Introduction to the Market

Small Press United titles are presented to the book trade in small bundles periodically throughout the year instead of in large catalogs that traditionally come out just two or three times a year. This enables titles to be introduced to the market more quickly. Each title is featured on a full page that includes a color cover image, book description, author bio, endorsements, review excerpts, and other pertinent sales information.

Friday, July 19: Title data sent electronically to major trading partners

Monday, July 22: Title information and sales bundles sent to sales force 

Monday, July 29: Deadline for stock to be received at SPU

Tuesday, September 3: Deadline for signed contract and completed online title information form and cover image to SPU

Friday, September 20: Title data sent electronically to major trading partners
